Some 2nd Half Predictions!

July 14th, 2020 Betting on MLB Baseball

As I take a look at the 2nd half of the 2014 MLB season, here are some predictions that are a good guess in my book!  Why not a guess, since the hitters try to guess what the pitcher will throw next, while the pitcher tries to guess what the hitter is thinking, and manager will guess what reliever they should use next, and we fans and reporters are second-guessing all. Thus, this may lead to some not so correct guessing.  And if that’s what you were thinking, then you probably guessed correctly.

July 15th, 2020 Tennis Betting

The Australian Open is the first Grand Slam of the year, and though tennis odds are all about the US Open right now, there is nothing wrong with looking ahead a little bit and seeing how next year is shaping up to start. Not surprisingly, Serbian Novak Djokovic is white-hot at the moment, and is expected to go back to his winning ways down under, after losing the Australian Open for the first time in three years in 2014. Also unsurprisingly, Rafael Nadal and Andy Murray are close behind Djokovic.

On the other hand, Roger Nadal will also be part of the 8-man tournament, and will most likely be looking to bounce back from his disappointing elimination at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club. Tennis Odds: Grand Slam Winners

July 15th, 2020 Tennis Betting

When there are clear-cut favorites, tennis betting often focuses not on whether they will win, but on how many times they will win. That’s why there are odds on how many Grand Slams Andy Murray, Novak Djokovic, and Rafael Nadal are going to win throughout this year. The underdog of sorts here is Murray (+350 to win one; -600 to win none), since you could actually bet that he’s not going to win any major tournament during 2014. So far, the Scotsman has had as bad a season as his previous one was good. Murray failed to successfully defend his Miami Masters, Queens Club, and Wimbledon Championships. He also came up short in the Australian Open and the French Open, but he still has one Grand Slam tournament left in the US Open.

July 15th, 2020 UFC Betting

You’d have to be too much of a UFC betting buff to want to place money on UFC 176, unless you’re interested more on the wagering action than in the quality of the actual event. And at this juncture Dana White and Co. seem headed toward the poorest quality card since UFC 151 -which was actually cancelled. It all started when the main event rematch of featherweight champion Jose Aldo vs. Chad Mendes was scrapped when the former suffered a shoulder and cervical spine injury.
