The Eagles saw the return of their star quarterback Michael Vick last week when defeating the Dolphins in Miami. This win made the team 5-8 for the season and kept a mathematical playoff chance alive. Although Eagle fans were certainly excited by the win as well as seeing Vick on the playing field, the Eagles were not as impressive as the 26-10 victory may seem. A poor Dolphin offense coughed up the ball several times giving the Eagles easy chances to score.

The Buffalo Bills are 5-8 going into this game and that is one game better than the Miami Dolphins who are 4-9. Both teams have had disappointing seasons and are now looking to next year.

The Browns are looking to next year’s NFL season as well as the Cardinals. Although it should be noted that the Cardinals at 6-7, have been mathematically eliminated from playoffs.

This is a big game for the Bengals. At 7-6 they are still in the hunt for the second wildcard spot. One game behind the Jets and tied with the Titans and Raiders, the Bengals needs to win their remaining three games. This is a tall order, but begins this Sunday with the 2-11 Rams. This will be their easiest of their final three games. If they can get past the Rams they will face the Cardinals the following week.

FIU comes into play with an 8-4 record and a 5-3 record in the Sun Belt Conference. FIU averages 26.3 points per game on offense and 19.4 points per game on defense. FIU also leads the nation in punt return yardage with their return team a constant threat to take it all the way.

The San Diego State Aztecs take on the Louisiana-Lafayette Ragin’ Cajuns in a battle to the finish. The Aztecs come into play with an 8-4 record and a 4-3 record in the Mountain West Conference. The Aztecs average 29.8 points per game on offense and 24.4 points per game on defense. The Aztecs are led by first year head coach Rocky Long.

The Owls come into play with an 8-4 record and a 5-3 record, which is good for 2nd in the MAC. The Cowboys also have an 8-4 record with a 5-2 record, which is 3rd in the Mountain West Conference. With near-identical records, this game should prove to go right down to the last whistle.

The Ohio Bobcats come into play with a 9-4 record and a 6-2 record that is 1st in the MAC. The Bobcats average 31 points per game on offense and 22.1 points per game on defense. Ohio has played great in the second half of the season winning five of their last six games.

The Alabama A&M Bulldogs take on the Grambling State Tigers in what is sure to be a real donnybrook at Legion Field. The Bulldogs come into play with a 8-3 record and a 7-2 record in the SWAC. They’ve been on a tear all season winning eight of their last nine games.
