In contrast to last week’s demolition derby NASCAR betting gets back to normal on Saturday. In comparison this week’s race will be more about driver skill. And a lot less about the luck of a lottery. While most top drivers were wrecked out early last week that is now over. The mile and a half track at Kentucky Speedway should get everyone back in their comfort zone. Indeed the “Big Three” are likely to return to prominence Saturday night. Kyle Busch and Kevin Harvick have dominated all year. However defending champion Martin Truex Jr has now caught fire.

Kentucky Speedway
The Quaker State 400 has been run every season since 2011. And Brad Keselowski leads with three career NASCAR betting wins in this event. Martin Truex Jr was the winner last year. The asphalt track is a mile and a half tri oval. Furthermore, the track has unique banking. For example, turns one and two have 17-degree banking. Conversely turns three and four are at 14 degrees. The tri oval has banking of eight to ten degrees. Overall seating capacity is 87,000.
Martin Truex Jr
It took a while but Martin Truex Jr is back into championship form. As a matter of fact, he has finished fourth or better in seven of the last eight races. Likewise, he was the winner at Sonoma. What’s more he put on a phenomenal display of racing last week at Daytona. Initially he stayed in the back of the pack for much of the race. Then he made a late move passing the entire field to take the lead. He led until the very end. The outcome was determined by a shootout after a wreck. Erik Jones prevailed.
Busch vs. Harvick
Kyle Busch and Kevin Harvick have had dominant sportsbook online performances. Specifically, each has five wins on the season. Hence that is the top total in the NASCAR Cup circuit. Busch leads the standings but Harvick is right behind. In addition, Busch has been a strong performer at Kentucky. In seven career starts heh has two wins. Along the same lines he has six top ten finishes there. Harvick has done well at the Quaker State 400 too. In comparison he has five top ten finishes. But he’s still looking for his first Kentucky win.
Keselowski
Keselowski could be a value play in this one. Consider he is fifth in the standings. Equally important is his great record of success in the Quaker State 400.
Drivers to Watch
Granted, it’s impossible to ignore the Big Three as NASCAR betting selections. This season has not been about parity. Owing to that is sticking with what has worked in 2018. Kyle Busch also has the advantage of running Friday night in the Xfinity Series. It follows that he will have an advantage Saturday night.
