The Chase to the Cup has begun with Clint Bowyer winning the first of 10 races.
With the victory Bowyer moved up in the standings to 4th place. That does not mean he will be the favorite for those betting NASCAR though. Jimmy Johnson is still the favorite among fans that are betting NASCAR each week. Johnson started the 10-race Chase with a 20-point lead due to his six wins on the season. Of the eight tracks that the teams have run on already this season Johnson has two wins and an average finish of 9.5.

Those are pretty solid numbers and he is a deserving favorite among fans betting NASCAR races. Those numbers are not the best though. Matt Kenseth has had four top-five finishes and no finish worse than 14th on any of the eight tracks. His average finish on the eight tracks is 7.5.
