Indianapolis 500 Betting on A.J. Foyt IV at SBG Global

Indianapolis 500 betting will include odds on a Foyt again as A.J. Foyt IV is in the race. While Foyt is in the race in the 19th position, he has a lot of drivers to pass and history is not on his side in Indianapolis 500 odds.

Indianapolis 500 information tells us that the Foyt IV posted a speed of 222.586 to start inside row seven. “I was so nervous and so stressed out,” said Foyt IV, “I haven’t eaten anything all day and it feels like I just got out of the Golden Corral eating a big buffet. My stomach is such in a knot. I’m just thrilled to be in the ABC Supply/A.J. Foyt car here in the Indy 500.”

Online betting information shows that the 93rd running of the Indianapolis 500 takes place Sunday, May 24th starting at 1 pm Eastern Time on ABC television. Foyt is definitely not one of the favorites in Indianapolis 500 at the online sportsbook. In fact, he is starting so far back that he is part of the field bet at the online sportsbook. A.J. Foyt IV may have the name that attracts attention in Indy Car racing but he does not have the car or the talent right now to win. Many other drivers are going to get a lot more attention from gamblers in this year’s Indy 500.

The favorite in Indianapolis 500 betting is Helio Castroneves at 3-1. He is followed by last year’s Indianapolis 500 winner Scott Dixon at 3.5-1. Ryan Briscoe is next at 5-1 on the Indianapolis 500 betting board. The 2007 winner, Dario Franchitti is listed at 6.5-1 on the Indianapolis 500 odds board. Teammates Tony Kanaan and Danica Patrick are 8.5-1 on the Indianapolis 500 board.

The remaining drivers have double-digit Indianapolis 500 odds. Marco Andretti is 12.5-1 on the Indianapolis 500 board followed by Dan Wheldon and Graham Rahal at 15-1. Paul Tracy has gotten some support and has dropped to 20-1 on the Indianapolis 500 board. Will Power and Vitor Meira have Indianapolis 500 odds of 30-1. Hideki Mutoh and Scott Sharp are 35-1 in Indianapolis 500 odds followed by Alex Tagliani, Ryan Hunter-Reay and Justin Wilson at 45-1. Robert Doombos is 50-1 in online odds. The field is 7.5-1 on the Indianapolis 500 betting board.
