Kyle Busch Love him or hate him -as most racing fans do- the man can drive and respect must be given when respect is due. Busch races more than any other driver in NASCAR and so perhaps his chances of accomplishing this rare feat were higher than any other drivers, but that’s only a small part of it.
Busch is also arguably the best driver in the NASCAR betting competition right now and has one of the best teams in the business. He’s able to do things on the track that most drivers wouldn’t even dream of because his car is simply better and he’s got bigger cajones then almost any other driver out there.
By winning the race on Saturday Busch maintains his 3rd place spot in the NASCAR odds competition and trails only Kevin Harvick and Jeff Gordon in the Chase standings.
With just two more races before the Chase begins Busch has all but assured himself a place in the NASCAR betting playoff competition. Busch has always started strong in his young racing career but he’s always fizzled down the home stretch and never seriously competed for a NASCAR driving title.
This year could be different as the field is wide open.
Four-time defending champ Jimmie Johnson has run well all season and currently sits 9th in the NASCAR betting standings. He’s just 444 points back and only 38 points separate him from 4th place driver Carl Edwards, a contender in his own right.
Johnson (5 wins), the veteran, is the favorite in the NASCAR car betting right now to grab the driving title this season but Busch is a very close second. With 3 wins, 6 top five finishes and 12 top ten’s he’s got the consistency he’s never had this late in a season and could very well grab his first championship this year.
