ISM Raceway
ISM Raceway in suburban Phoenix is the venue for this week’s Motor Racing Betting action. Opened in 1964 its track is one mile in length. Turn banks are modest at 10 to 11 degrees. Unique to ISM is its dogleg with the same banking. Asphalt is the surface of this popular raceway. Standing room only crowds of 51,000 are the norm for at Phoenix. Fresh off two top five finishes is Truex Jr. Las Vegas saw Busch finish second to Harvick in last week’s run. Also, of note is seventh place Brad Keselowski. Bottom of the Monster Energy Standings
Near the bottom of the Monster Energy standings is Kasey Kahne. Especially relevant is his top finish of only 19th in three starts this year. Kurt Busch has been wildly inconsistent. Sandwiched between 26th and 34th place runs were an eight-place finish in week two. Also struggling has been Jamie McMurray, Chase Elliott, and Ricky Stenhouse Jr.
