In 1994 NASCAR made history with its first-ever race at the famed Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Previously, the Brickyard was best known for hosting the Indianapolis 500. The Indy 500 is known as the Greatest Spectacle in Racing to this very day. But IMS took an immediate liking to NASCAR. In fact, over 250,0000 fans attended that first Brickyard 400 that Jeff Gordon won. Next came a NASCAR betting win by Dale Earnhardt in 1995. Those were the Glory Years of the Brickyard 400. 2021 Verizon 200 Overview
