NASCAR Betting Sunday with Toyota Owners 400 from Richmond

Toyota Owners 400 Odds, Predicitions and Betting Analysis

Kyle Busch is the hottest thing going.  The Monster Energy NASCAR Cup standings have his name at the top.  Kyle has posted back to back NASCAR betting victories.  Kevin Harvick has been nearly as effective.  Three straight first place finishes were his earlier in the season.  Seems like that makes Joey Logano lost in the shuffle.  Yet Logano is quietly in second place behind Busch.  Clint Bowyer, Brad Keselowski, and Ryan Blaney have also shown well.  But heading into Richmond there are two drivers getting the action.  NASCAR bettors are flocking to Kyle Busch and Kevin Harvick.

Richmond Raceway

Former NASCAR Cup Champion Rusty Wallace called the Richmond Raceway the most perfect track on the circuit.  Opened in 1946 it has gone through many improvements since then.  Seating capacity for Richmond is 60,000.  So respected is the venue that it gets two Cup races each year.  With an asphalt surface the track is three quarters of a mile in length.  Configured in a D-shaped oval the turn banks are 14 degrees.  Drivers love the ability to pass on the track.  Richmond often offers the most competitive races of the year.

Kyle Busch

Kyle Busch has been the model of NASCAR betting consistency.  After a 25th place run on opening day at Daytona he has dominated.  Six consecutive finishes of third place or better catapulted him to the top.  Wins at Bristol and Texas have come the past two weeks.  But it gets even better.  The top ranked active driver at Richmond is Kyle Busch.  In 25 career starts he has four wins and 18 top ten finishes.  Kyle’s average finish at Richmond is 7.40.

Kevin Harvick

Kevin Harvick has finished seventh or better in six of the first eight races this year.  He won consecutive races in Atlanta, Las Vegas and Phoenix.  Harvick was seventh last week at Bristol.  He finished second to Busch at Texas.  Success at Richmond is a consistent part of his career.  Totaling 34 career starts there Harvick has three wins and 21 top ten finishes.  An impressive average finish of 10.44 catches attention.

Denny Hamlin

Denny Hamlin is another driver to watch at Richmond.  With 23 career starts he has compiled three wins and 14 top ten finishes.  Third best among active drivers is an average finish of 9.57.  Currently eighth in the standings Hamlin has finished sixth or better four times this year.

Joey Logano

Joey Logano has finished ninth or better in seven out of eight races this year.  He is yet to win but second in the standings.  Logano has won two races in 18 career starts at Richmond.  His career average finish there is 11.89.

Clint Bowyer

Clint Bowyer could be a strong online sportsbook pick at Richmond.  Fourth in the standings he has one win this year (Martinsville).  Bowyer has 23 career starts at Richmond with an average finish of 13.33.  Twice he has taken the checkers there.

Matchup to Watch

Kyle Busch and Harvick are the understandable NASCAR betting favorites for Satuday.  Based on past performance its difficult to bet against them.  However, Hamlin and Bowyer may bring superior value.
