NASCAR Odds Info for the Auto Club 500 at SBG Global

NASCAR odds makers are busy at work doing research for the upcoming NASCAR betting odds season. While it’s hard to know for sure which teams and drivers will do well in the races ahead until the cars are on the track, it’s not impossible to try and form an educated guess as to who they might finish up in the NASCAR. The Auto Club 500, for example, is tough to handicap this far out, but there’s plenty to learn about the track and the history here that can prove essential in making a good bet when the NASCAR season finally does roll around.

NASCAR for the Auto Club 500 are the first real odds of the 2009 NASCAR betting odds season. The Auto Club Speedway plays host to this race and later on in the year another big NASCAR  event in the Pepsi 500. This is a very fast, state of the art super speedway that is perfect for wide open driving and pretty clean racing, at least by NASCAR standards.

Started in 1997 the Auto Club 500 has gone through a handful of sponsors but the top quality NASCAR odds competition has remained the same. Over the years this NASCAR betting  event has been dominated by the new breed of driver. Drivers from areas not traditionally associated with NASCAR have done very well here. In fact, Jeff Gordon, the original NASCAR outsider, has done very well here, coming out tops in the NASCAR three times.

Other winners include fellow Californian and teammate in the NASCAR competition, Jimmie Johnson, Vancouver, WA native, Greg Biffle and Missouri-born Carl Edwards. All of these drivers are part of the new guard in NASCAR competition and have great success here.

One other thing to note is that Roush Racing has won the past for NASCAR event here and look well poised to make it a fifth straight win.
