Xfinity Series Darlington 200 Overview
Owing to Darlington Raceway is NASCAR’s Xfinity Series returning to the roots of the sport. Stock Car racing was created out of illegal moonshine whiskey delivery drivers outrunning the law. More emphatically the American Deep South is where these moonshiners got together to form organized races. On this occasion, sportsbook action evolved from those unique roots. Now the entire world is watching. If NASCAR succeeds at its comeback this will spark the rest of sports to follow suit.
In comparison to the rest of the field, Kyle Busch will be a heavy betting favorite. Busch is a two-time NASCAR Cup champion scheduled to run in Tuesday’s Xfinity Series race. As a consequence of Busch’s presence sharps will be looking elsewhere for a well-priced capable alternative. The Xfinity Series is unique in that major league drivers will occasionally drop down to race there. Busch is one of most frequent “double dippers” in the sport. As a result of his status as among the elite in the Cup division does Busch command full retail prices.
Xfinity Series Top Drivers
First place in the Xfinity Series standings belongs to rookie Harrison Burton. In four starts Burton has one win and has finished in the top five each run. Burton drives the #20 Toyota for Joe Gibbs Racing. Previously he competed in the Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series. Burton is the son of former NASCAR Cup Series driver and current NBC Sports race analyst Jeff Burton.
Second place in the standings belongs to Chase Briscoe of Stewart Haas Racing. Briscoe has driven the #98 Ford to one Xfinity Series Betting win in four starts. His other finishes were fifth, 19th and sixth. Last year Briscoe finished fifth in the Xfinity Series standings.
Next in third place is Austin Cendric of Team Penske. Cendric drives the #22 Ford. Following a 25th place run in the season opener at Daytona he finished second, third and eighth. Cendric finished sixth in the Xfinity Series for 2019 and was eighth in 2018.
Brandon Jones is in fourth place behind Cendric. Jones drives the #19 Toyota for Joe Gibbs Racing. Thus far he has a win with two top-five and three top-ten finishes. Jones finished the 2019 season 10th in the standings. Previously in 2018, he finished in ninth place.
Ross Chastain, Noah Gragson, Ryan Sieg, Justin Haley, Justin Allgaier, and Michael Annett complete the top ten. In view of two top fives and six top ten runs at Darlington Allgaier merits strong consideration. Likewise, Kyle Busch has two wins, six top-five, and seven top ten runs in 11 Xfinity Series starts at Darlington.
Xfinity Series Darlington 200 Free Pick
Certainly, Busch will be the justifiable favorite. But he will be far too expensive. Allgaier brings a far better price and a proven record at Darlington. Concurrently he has 11 career Xfinity Series wins and has finished seventh or better in the final standings nine consecutive years.
