More emphatically full time Xfinity Series drivers have asserted themselves. To show for the second consecutive week MENCS crossover drivers went down to defeat. Namely Christopher Bell has emerged as a Xfinity Series betting on NASCAR favorite. Last week he defeated crossover favorite Brad Keselowski. Supplementing that was his win two weeks ago over MENCS leader Kyle Busch. This week there will be no crossover drivers from the top tier. Alternatively, only Xfinity regulars will make Saturday’s run at Iowa. Likewise, drivers from the second-tier circuit are gaining respect. Indeed, the series has reached its peak for 2018.

Iowa Speedway
Initially the US Cellular 250 has been run every summer since 2009. Ryan Preece was the winner last year. By contrast Erik Jones was the 2016 winner with Ryan Blaney winning in 2015. Presently the US Cellular 250 will be run in three stages. First the initial two stages will be 60 laps each. After that the third stage will be comprised of 130 laps. Iowa Speedway is 0.875 miles in length. Despite the short distance the racing is hyper competitive. Starting with wide track groves for plenty of passing space. Correlate to good racing is its old asphalt surface.
Christopher Bell
Encompassing the resurgence of the Xfinity Series is Christopher Bell. Though he is a rookie Bell has climbed to second in the standings. Further he has posted three betting on NASCAR wins on the season. Furthermore, Bell has finished third or better in four of his last five starts. As a result of his strong performance word is that he has emerged as a MENCS candidate. Certainly, Toyota is adamant about keeping this budding star.
Daniel Hemric
First in the standings is Daniel Hemric. A clear difference between Hemric and Bell is that Hemric is winless. And yet he leads the standings due to remarkable consistency. In his last 16 races Hemric has posted 13 top ten finishes. Additionally, he has finished eighth or better in eight of his last nine starts. Another driver relying on consistency is Elliott Sadler. So too has Sadler failed to post a sportsbook win. But he does have 15 top ten finishes in 18 Xfinity Series races on the season. Sadler is the defending regular season champion.
Cole Custer
Meanwhile the fourth-place driver has also copied the Hemric and Sadler model. Likewise, Cole Custer is winless so far in 2018. Simultaneously Custer has finished in the top ten in 14 of his last 16 starts. A further impressive stat is that he has finished fifth or better in six of his last eight runs.
Justin Allgaier
Increasingly earning respect is fifth place Justin Allgaier. Above all his two wins on the season command respect. In like manner he has also shown the consistency of the aforementioned drivers. To illuminate Allgaier has six consecutive top ten finishes.
Matchup to Watch
Definitely Bell is the hot betting on NASCAR name in this series. Balanced against that is an improving Xfinity Series roster of contenders. In particular any of the top five drivers makes for a smart pick. Nevertheless, Allgaier will combine good price and ability. And he has a win and nine top ten finishes at Iowa.
