It is not always easy to choose the winner in Belmont Stakes wagering at the sports book. The horses in the Belmont have never run a mile and half and will probably never run that far again. That makes it tough to find a quality horse without a lot of guesswork versus the Belmont Stakes lines at the sportsbook. Sometimes you have the added pressure of a possible Triple Crown if a horse has won the Derby and the Preakness. Even when you have a horse that goes into the Belmont with a chance for the Triple Crown, most of the time the horse fails.
Belmont Stakes odds are a bit different than the other two Triple Crown races. The Derby is a wide open betting affair where longshots rule the day. The Preakness is more of a favorite’s race with shorter prices while the Belmont could be anything. You could have a short price horse win or have a closer come from the clouds to hit a big price in Belmont Stakes odds at the sportsbook. That is what makes betting Belmont Stakes odds difficult for many horse racing bettors.
As you are betting Belmont Stakes odds remember to take a few shots in the exotics. Put together some nice exacta and trifecta boxes and try and hit the big score. That is really the only way to make good money in horse racing and Belmont Stakes odds definitely give you the chance to hit one of those nice payouts.

Continue ReadingExaggerator’s horse betting odds of winning the 2016 Belmont Stakes turned out to be, well, an exaggeration. A long time ago a man said the last shall be first, and the first last. He had long hair and some wild ideas, and he didn't always do what other people thought was right. And that man's name was … I forget. You know who I'm talking about. He used to drive a blue car. The point is that Creator posted 13 in a field of 13 and went on to finish the 148th Test of Champions in first place. Meanwhile, Exaggerator seemed well content with the post he drew and that’s exactly where he finished – in 11th place.
