A clear difference exists between the Breeders Cup Juvenile and Classic. These two races draw most of the action with the Breeders Cup Betting Odds. The Friday Juvenile draws the best two-year-old thoroughbreds in the world and sets the stage for the 2020 Triple Crown season. Indeed, the winner of the Juvenile will likely emerge as the Kentucky Derby favorite. Saturday’s Classic draws the absolute best horses of any age for what is the ultimate dream race. Past champions and big names run for the biggest purse of the year. Both races end their respected daily schedules.

Friday, 7:03 p.m. ET, NBCSN Friday Breeders Cup Juvenile Odds Analysis
At the onset of looking at the Juvenile Eight Rings looks like a certain offshore bookmaker favorite. Namely, Bob Baffert is the trainer with respected jockey John Velazquez getting the mount. Eight Rings were the winner of the grade one American Pharoah Stakes. Baffert and Velazquez are both Hall of Famers. As a result, public money should flow freely on Eight Rings.
By contrast, Maxfield looks like the top alternate to Eight Rings. Maxfield is owned by Godolphin and trained by Brendan P. Walsh. Jose Ortiz should get the ride. Most important of all was Maxfield’s win in the grade one Breeders Cup Futurity at Keeneland.
Saturday, 8:44 p.m. ET, NBC. Breeders Cup Classic Odds Analysis
On the whole, Bob Baffert will loom large with the Breeders Cup Betting Odds. McKinzie will be his entry for the Classic that will be run on Saturday evening. McKinzie was the Triple Crown favorite at the start of last spring. However, a leg injury kept him out of action until later this year. McKinzie has posted over $2.2 million in earnings. His biggest win was in the grade one Whitney Stakes at Saratoga. Overall McKinzie has posted seven wins and five places in 13 career starts.
Code of Honor will be another top pick for the Classic. Consider that the Code of Honor was the winner of the grade one Jockey Club Gold Cup. Increasingly this Claude McGaughey horse has momentum with three straight wins.
Todd Pletcher is another famed trainer that draws a lot of betting action his way. And Vino Rosso is a Pletcher trained horse that will bring dollars his way. Vino Rosso was the winner of the grade one Gold Cup at Santa Anita.
Along the same lines, Mongolian Groom is a potential sleeper pick for the Classic. In September he won the grade one Awesome Stake at Santa Anita. Enebish Ganbat is the trainer of this contender.

Bob Baffert is the best big-time horse trainer in the sport. Above all, he has won the only two Triple Crown titles since 1978. In 2015 he ended America’s Triple Crown drought with American Pharoah. Baffert then repeated the triumph in 2018 with Justify. Subsequently, He has posted four wins in the Breeders Cup Juvenile and three wins in the classic. While his horses are not cheap bets, they are almost always the best bets.
