The unbeaten Zenyatta will be the favorite in Breeders Cup odds for the Breeders Cup Classic but she is not throwing fear into opposing trainers as a large field is expected. The field is really a strong one led by Zenyatta who will be a slight online gambling favorite over Blame, Quality Road and Lookin At Lucky. Trainers pre-entered their horses into different races so they can choose the best spot as the races get closer. Trainer Nick Zito entered Fly Down and Morning Line, in Classic. Trainer Dale Romans entered Paddy O’Prado and First Dude in the classic. Musket Man is going to take another shot at glory in the classic. Haynesfield is entered in the Classic as is Gio Ponti and Pleasant Prince. Not all of these horses will run in the Classic though. They are just pre-entered in case the situation is favorable. Gio Ponti is likely headed to the Mile. The pre-entry process lets a trainer name a horse to two races this week and then next week he will have to decide upon which race the horse will run in.
