Breeders Cup betting takes place this year from Keeneland on Friday, November 2nd and Saturday, November 3rd. There are a total of 14 races over two days for purses that total $26 million dollars. Breeders Cup wagering goes back to 1984 and the races have become more popular every year. There was a time when Breeders Cup betting was held just on Saturday but in the past few years the racing has expanded to Friday and Saturday.
SBG Global will have odds on the board for all of the exciting action. Breeders Cup betting this year begins with six races on Friday, November 2nd. ESPN 2 will be televising all of the races on Friday. The races on Friday are the Marathon, the Juvenile Fillies Turf, the Breeders Cup Filly & Mare Sprint, the Juvenile Fillies, the Filly & Mare Turf and the Ladies Classic.
Saturday is a huge day of Breeders Cup betting. The races on Saturday include the Breeders’ Cup Classic which is a mile and ¼ for $5 million dollars. Also on the board is the Breeders’ Cup Turf which is a mile and a half for $3 million. The Breeders’ Cup Mile is also on the board and it is a $2 million dollar race. The Sprint and the Juvenile are $2 million dollar races with the Sprint going 6 furlongs and the Juvenile a mile and 1/16th. The Dirt Mile is another race on the card for Saturday with a $1 million dollar purse. The Juvenile Turf and the Turf Sprint also have $1 million dollar purses. ABC will televise the first three races on Saturday and ESPN will show the remaining five races.
