Bet on Cycling 50% Bonus

Cycling betting odds are the most popular on events like the Tour de France, Giro d’Italia and Vuelta a Espana. Other events such as the Paris-Roubaix and the Giro di Lombardia also attract attention from gamblers who like cycling betting.

Cycling betting has many classic races in addition to the ones previous mentioned. The Tour de France gets all the headlines but other races like the Ronde van Vlaanderen also have exciting cycling odds. The World Championships are also intriguing in cycling betting. The main events of the Tour de France, Giro d’Italia and the World Cycling Championships are considered the Triple Crown of cycling. Only two riders in history have won the Triple Crown, Eddy Merckx in 1974 and Stephen Roche in 1987.

This year’s Tour de France got underway on July 4th and concluded on July 26th. The race is made up of 21 stages covering a distance of 3,360.3 kilometers. There are 10 flat stages, 7 mountain stages, 1 medium mountain stage, 2 individual time trials and 1 team time trial. The favorites in cycling betting for this year’s race were Nibali, Contador, Quintana, and Roome. Those are the four favorites in cycling betting odds for the 2017 Tour de France.

The Ronde van Vlaanderen or Tour of Flanders as it is also know is held in Flanders, Belgium each spring and really begins the cycling betting season in early April. It is held a week before Paris-Roubaix. The race is part of the UCI ProTour and is the most important race in Belgium. The race was won by Alexander Kristoff. He defeated Niki Teprstra, while Greg Van Avermaet took third place in the race.

The Liège-Bastogne-Liège, also known as the La Doyenne is one of the five Classic style races on the cycling betting schedule and is run in late April. It is held in the Ardennes of Belgium and goes from Liege to Bastogne and back. The race was part of the UCI Road World Cup. Alejandro Valverde Belmonte won the 2017 race.

In spite of an injury Alberto Contador is still a cycling betting pick for the Spanish Vuelta. However, his odds are, as we say in the wagering business, on the drift. Even Chris Froome, who also crashed out of the Tour de France, appears to have better chances of winning the The Vuelta, which will take place between 23 August and 14 September 2014.

Richie Porte’s Tour Cycling Odds Shortening

July 14th, 2020 Cycling Betting

Richie Porte had good cycling betting odds of making the Tour de France podium, but they are now even better after Alberto Contador and teammate Chris Froome -among others- have been forced to step down. This turn of events has thrust the Australian dark horse into the spotlight as the single greatest threat to current yellow jersey wearer Vincenzo Nibali. In a way, this scenario parallels the 1985 film American Flyers, with Porte and Froome filling the roles played by David Marshall Grant and Kevin Costner. We have yet to see whether Porte does indeed defy the odds and gets his own Hollywood ending.
