Cameroon and Denmark meet on Sunday in World Cup gambling with the winner remaining alive in Group E while the loser is probably done. World Cup betting odds slightly favor Denmark in this match that can be seen on ABC.World Cup gambling odds list Denmark at -130 while Cameroon is even money with the total at 2 under. The three-way line has Denmark at +140, Cameroon at +180 and the Draw at +210. Both Cameroon and Denmark lost their opening matches so this is a critical game for both teams. The match is probably even more critical for Cameroon since they still have to play the Netherlands. Denmark has an easier match in their finale against Japan.
Cameroon was not expected to lose their opening match against Japan and many players were not happy about the way the team played. Indomitable Lions midfielder Enoh Eyong Takang said that the team has to improve all the way around if they want to get a win against Denmark. He said they simply have to score on Saturday. Cameroon dominated the second half in their match against Japan but came away with nothing. Samuel Eto’o was a non-factor against Japan and if Cameroon is to win they need Eto’o to score. Head coach Paul Le Guen played Eto’o at the far right position and it simply didn’t work. Pierre Webo is simply not good enough to get Eto’o into position to score. Eto’o said that he must be in the central position to get the most scoring chances. It will be interesting to see if Le Guen recognizes his mistake and puts Eto’o in the middle on Saturday.
Denmark didn’t play well in their opener either as they were routed by the Netherlands 2-0. Head coach Morten Olsen said that the team has to forget about their mistakes and move on. A draw might be good enough for Denmark in this match since they finish up group play with the match against Japan.
This match will be televised on ABC on Saturday and it should be a very hard fought competitive game. The World Cup betting odds definitely point to a close match where a single goal might be all that is scored.
