DC-United-vs-Atlanta-United-Betting-Preview

We have a Major League Soccer betting fever and the only cure is more United. Thankfully this Wednesday we have Atlanta United vs. DC United, and Minnesota United is also in there somewhere.

D.C. United vs. Atlanta United
Time: 7:30 PM
Venue: RFK Stadium

Sportsbook odds for fans who bet on soccer:

Atlanta United PK (+109) 3 (+106) +192
D.C. United PK (-124) 3 (-121) +146
Atlanta United/D.C. United Draw +262

The Five Stripes snapped a two-game skid with a 3-1 win over Columbus on Saturday. Hector Villalba, Miguel Almiron, and Josef Martinez – all three Designated Players – scored to help Atlanta win its third straight home game. Head coach Gerardo Martino opted to bench Martinez in Atlanta’s win against the Charleston Battery on Wednesday and save him for Saturday’s match. This was the first time that Atlanta gets a win after conceding the lead.

DC extended its winless streak to three games with Saturday’s 0-2 loss to Toronto. The Black-and-Red have lost five of their last seven games, and have scored only one goal – a penalty kick at that – in that span. DC has a league-worst 10 goals this season.

Minnesota United FC vs. Portland Timbers soccer betting preview

Time: 8:00 PM
Venue: TCF Bank Stadium

Odds for fans who bet on soccer:
Portland Timbers PK (-127) 3 (+101) +145
Minnesota United PK (+112) 3 (-116) +191
Portland Timbers/Minnesota United Draw +266

The Loons lost a second game in a row (and their fourth in the last five games), 0-1 to the Real World: Salt Lake on Saturday. Goalie Bobby Shuttleworth had a busy night with nine shots on goal and ten corner kicks, but a late goal ruined his hopes of a clean sheet.

The Timbers suffered a double whammy last week. They assembled a makeshift team comprising reserves and USL callups for their U.S. Open Cup game versus the Sounders on Tuesday – which they lost 1-2 – and saved their top eleven for Saturday’s match against the lowly Colorado Slowpids, which they also dropped 1-2. Sebastian Blanco opened the scoreboard for Portland in the first half, but the Timbers couldn’t hold on to the lead in the second.

Seattle Sounders vs. Orlando City SC soccer betting preview
Time: 10:30 PM
Venue: CenturyLink Field

Odds for fans who bet on soccer:
Orlando City SC +1 (-113) 2½ (-125) +572
Seattle Sounders -1 (-102) 2½ (+110) -180
Orlando City SC/Seattle Sounders Draw +319

The Lions are undefeated in their last three games, though the last two have been draws, including a 3-3 tie with the Impact on Saturday. Matias Perez Garcia and Carlos Rivas gave Orlando a lead twice, but the Lions had to scramble to save a point which they did thanks to Jonathan Spector’s goal in injury time.

The Sounders have lost two of their last three games, most recently 1-2 to NYCFC on Saturday. Clint Dempsey and Jordan Morris were back in the fold but it was Cristian Roldan who gave Seattle the lead in the 40th minute. However, two flashes of David Villa’s former brilliance were enough to put the Sounders away.
