English professional golfer Justin Rose is, according to the latest golf betting odds, the +450 favorite to win the 2017 UBS Hong Kong Open. Rose won the 2015 edition, defeating Lucas Bjerregaard by one stroke, but finished tied for 36th last year. This will be his fourth start in this event. Rose missed the cut in the PGA Championship, but has had hitherto seven straight top 10 finishes, including wins at the WGC – HSBC Champions and the Turkish Airlines Open.

Sergio Garcia (+650)
This will be the Spaniard’s first foray in the Hong Kong Open, and he has, ahead of his debut, won the Andalucia Valderrama Masters hosted by the Sergio Garcia Foundation, and finished T4 in the DP World Tour Championship. “We have to get on it again,” Garcia said. “We have two tournaments left this actual year and hopefully we can finish and start the year in the same way that we did last season. You don’t want to get comfortable with what you’ve done. You want to make sure that you keep moving forward and keep putting yourself in position to win more tournaments and all those things.”
Matthew Fitzpatrick (+1015)
Fitz is, per the latest golf betting odds, the third-fave to win this event, in which he actually tied for 3rd place in 2015. The English golfer, who looks uncannily like a young Jon ‘Ducky’ Cryer, has eight straight top 15 finishes, a streak that started with a win at the Omega European Masters.
Tommy Fleetwood (+1250)
Fleetwood tied for 3rd place in last year’s edition of this tournament. He missed the cut at the Omega European Masters but has heretofore had six straight top 25 finishes, including a T6 in the Italian Open and a T10 at the Nedbank Golf Challenge hosted by Gary Player.
Rafa Cabrera Bello (+1650)
RCB was the solo runner-up of the 2016 Hong Kong Open, which he lost to Sam Brazel by one stroke. Cabrera Bello finished tied for 5th place in the WGC – HSBC Champions but has struggled in his next two starts, placing T42 at the Nedbank Golf Challenge hosted by Gary Player and T21 in the DP World Tour Championship.
Miguel Ángel Jiménez (N/A)
The latest golf betting odds may not have taken notice of the veteran known as the The Most Interesting Golfer in the World, but that’s what makes him what people betting on golf tournaments call a dark horse. As a matter of fact, The Mechanic is tied with most wins in the history of the Hong Kong Open, and has the most wins since it became a European Tour, in addition to being an Asian Tour, event, in both instances with four, the most recent of which came in 2014. “The Hong Kong Golf Club is a place where I have enjoyed great success, and I love everything about the tournament,” Jimenez said. It’s a great golf course where you have to control the ball very well, it’s not a matter of distance, and that makes for an enjoyable week.”
