Friday, November 1 begins the biggest sports betting weekend of the thoroughbred racing season. Highlighting Friday’s action is the TVG Juvenile. For hard-core horse-racing fans, this is the first major test for the 2020 Kentucky Derby. The winner of the TVG Juvenile will be the first major Kentucky Derby betting favorite for next May’s Run for the Roses. Saturday has a loaded lineup of powerhouse horses running all day. 2020 Breeders Cup Handicapping

Dennis’ Moment
Dennis’ Moment is trained by Dale Romans with jockey Irad Ortiz Jr. aboard. So far Dennis’ moment has a total of $147,800 in earnings. His biggest win was in the Grade Three 2029 Iroquois Stakes that was held at Churchill Downs on September 14. Previously Dennis’ Moment won a race at Ellis Park. Correlate that the win in the Iroquois Stakes was a Breeders Cup Challenge victory.
Eight Rings
Eight Rings is another Breeders Cup Challenge winner. To illuminate this Bob Baffert trained horse won the Grade One 2019 American Pharoah Stakes at Santa Anita Park on September 27. He posted a win at Del Mar on August 4 as well. Eight Rings have a total of $216,851 in career winnings. In addition, John Velazquez will be aboard Eight Rings for the Juvenile. A big handicapping factor is a fact that Baffert is the trainer. The Hall of Famer is a big draw for a betting activity that may raise the price.
Basin
Steve Asmussen trained Basin will have jockey Jose Ortiz aboard. So far Basin has a total of $261,000 in career earnings. Encompassing the good vibes was a win in the Grade One Runhappy Hopeful Stakes at Saratoga last September.
