Los Angeles Dodgers
To be exact, the Dodgers are the most dominant online betting regular-season team. Los Angeles has the largest payroll in the game and has for several seasons. The Dodgers have won no less than 104 games in three of the last four full campaigns. But in the postseason, Los Angeles struggles to close. LA has made the playoffs in nine consecutive seasons. MLB odds expectations are high for even more this year.
New York Yankees
Since 1995, the Yankees have missed the playoffs just five times. New York is the only franchise matching the Dodgers’ massive payroll. Still, the Yankees are not getting a good return on their investment from their starting rotation. New York’s run production and fielding were in the bottom third of MLB for 2021. Although the Yankees had a 92-71 record in 2021, they were in the red at -284 units.
