Baseball Betting Preview of Brewers at Dodgers Game

September 8th, 2017 Betting on MLB Baseball

Baseball betting season fast approaching the time of year when the pennant races heat and every game seems to count just a little more than before.

When the calendar page turns to August the bet on baseball competition gets fierce and the baseball betting opportunities get very interesting. One very interesting baseball betting match up will occur on August 3rd when the Milwaukee Brewers head to Chavez Ravine to take on the mighty LA Dodgers.

Baseball betting fans will be hard pressed to find a better match up, in terms of quality, on that date. The Dodgers are arguably the best team in the league with an MLB leading 62-38 record. There are still a lot of games left to bet on baseball but the Dodgers have been out front in the NL West from day one of the baseball betting season and look to have a spot in the postseason all but wrapped up.

The team’s bull pen has been probably the best in baseball betting in terms of ERA and innings pitched. And anyone who’s bet on baseball this year knows that this lineup, while lacking a lot of power, finds ways to put plenty of runs on the board. With Manny back in the baseball betting line up the offense becomes even more potent. And when its biggest weakness for fans that bet on baseball might just be its starting rotation, which features two all stars…well the team doesn’t really have any baseball betting weaknesses.

The Brewers on the other hand have struggled mightily. Prior to the All-Star break this looked like a team that would be battling the baseball betting competition for a spot in the post season. In the ultra competitive NL Central the Brew Crew was among the division leaders for most of the baseball betting season. But after dropping seven of the last ten game this is a team that has to turn it around quickly or give up its post season hopes. The Brewers are currently 4.5 games (49-51) behind the baseball betting leading Cardinals and have slipped below .500.

Unfortunately for the Brew Crew Chavez Ravine is no place to go looking for a much needed road win. Milwaukee is mediocre on the road (24-25) while the Dodgers are outstanding at home (34-17). The Brewers will also have the bottom order of their rotation on the mound and this looks like yet another Dodgers home win.

Pick LA to take this baseball betting match up.
