Additionally, the Yankees’ other moves were improvements, too. Marcus Stroman signed for less and for a shorter time than expected. Trent Grisham is a nice throw-in for a team that could use a legit center fielder. And New York’s made its usual solid moves to lengthen its bullpen. Even if it eschewed larger-scale additions there.
