Basketball Betting – Late TNT Game is San Antonio at Denver. The best matchup in basketball betting on Thursday is the late game on TNT with San Antonio visiting Denver. The Spurs have the best record in the NBA and it hasn’t mattered whether they are at home or on the road as they win regardless.  They should get tested on Thursday in NBA basketball betting by a Denver team that is 11-1 at home this season.

San Antonio has the disadvantage of having played last night as they were home against Milwaukee but Denver has problems of their own.  The Nuggets are dealing with the daily distraction of the Carmelo Anthony trade rumors.  He was rumored to be headed to New Jersey but Anthony wants to be traded to the Knicks.  Anthony is playing well even with all of the rumors flying around.  The Nuggets also have to deal with the loss of Chauncey Billups who is out with a wrist injury. He is not expected back in the lineup until at least next week.  The Nuggets did okay without Billups on Tuesday as they defeated Orlando.  Ty Lawson is taking the place of Billups in the starting lineup.

Anthony Still Playing Well
Some players might have trouble playing with rumors surrounding them getting traded but not Carmelo Anthony. He had one of his best games of the season on Tuesday as he scored 35 points in Denver’s home win over Orlando. He was 14 of 21 from the field and also pulled down 11 rebounds. He said he is not worried about the trade rumors and has not let it affect his play on the court.

Spurs 6-2-1 ATS on the Road
It is tough to go against San Antonio at anytime this season in NBA basketball betting at SBG. The Spurs have been sizzling all year. On the road they have been very good this season.  Even though Denver has lost just once this season at home, the Spurs definitely are capable of winning against the Nuggets.

Thursday Numbers
The Spurs are 4-0 in basketball betting in their last 4 road games vs. a team with a winning home record. The Spurs are 9-2 in ATS in their last 11 vs. the Northwest.
