Charlotte Bobcats at Phoenix Basketball Betting

January 10th, 2024 Live NBA Betting Lines

Basketball betting favors Phoenix on Tuesday as they host the Charlotte Bobcats. It is a tough spot for Charlotte in NBA betting as they are in the second game of a six game road trip and they played last night at Denver. Basketball betting has seen the Suns win eight of the last ten against Charlotte. Phoenix is 6-3-1 against the NBA betting odds in those games.  This is also a revenge game for the Suns as they were blown out in Charlotte just over a week ago. The Bobcats won 125-99 in basketball betting. Charlotte has actually won two of the last three against the Suns but both of those games were in Charlotte. At Phoenix they have had very little success and normally the games are not close.  This is a much better Charlotte team though than in past seasons.

Even though the situation is a tough one since Charlotte played last night, the Bobcats have some positive NBA betting trends. They are 6-1 in basketball betting in their last 7 vs. the Pacific Division. And you might think that the Bobcats would struggle with no rest but that is not the case.  Charlotte is 16-5 vs. the basketball betting line in their last 21 games playing on no rest.

Phoenix also played last night as they were in Utah. The Suns are an older team and they have not done as well with no rest.  They are 2-6 ATS in their last 8 games playing on no rest. The Suns are 2-5 ATS in their last 7 vs. the Eastern Conference. They have also struggled at home of late, as they are 1-4 in basketball betting in their last 5 home games. In this series against Charlotte, the home team is 3-0-1 ATS in the last 4 meetings.

Four of the last five Charlotte games have gone over the basketball betting total. Five of the last seven Charlotte games when they have had no rest have gone over. On the other side, the last five Phoenix home games have gone under the basketball betting total.  When Phoenix plays the Southeast Division their games really go under. 13 of the last 16 games between the Suns and teams from the Southeast have gone under.  On no rest though, Phoenix has gone over in 12 of their last 17 games.  And in this series, four of the last five at Phoenix have gone over in NBA betting.
