Apart from the strong efforts by the Pelicans and their A. Davis the Warriors are still unbeaten and they are now at 20 consecutive win at their Oracle Arena in Oakland with the game 2 win, and it was not a easy win. And now it’s time to see if the Pelicans can break their 0-2 series loses with a win on their home court and their home fans in New Orleans.
If you’re a Warriors fan and Bet on NBA at an Offshore sportsbook you surely know your Warriors let their big lead slide away in the 4th quarter of game 1 but still managed to win, then in game 2 they got classy as their K. Thompson scored 14 of his 26 points in the game in the 4th quarter to gain another win 97-87 over the Pelicans, while S. Curry helped with his 22 and some six assists in the game, and their defensive star D. Green played another excellent game guarding the Pelicans A. Davis. In game 2 their depth came to their aide as the bench helped on overcoming a 1st quarter deficit of 28-17 as L. Barbosa scored 12 point in 15 minutes off the bench.
The Warriors are taking advantage of the Pelicans injuries and their dependence on Davis and Gordon, so we thing the Warriors will use their bench more in this game 3. Now the worry for the Warriors is that they have struggled in their road games in the last 20 going 13 and 7 and 9 for 11 ATS.
If you’re a Pelicans fan, then you have to give some credit to your team as they played the team with the best record and home court advantage in the Western Conference as tough as any team could, and if they could get some of their injured players back to their playing roster, things could be different in their remaining game in this series. Their star A. Davis completed another excellent game in his 45 minutes of play with 2 blocks, 2 steals, 3 assists, 10 rebounds of the board and 26 points in total. Their T. Evans manage 41 minutes with an injured knee and till had 7 assists, 10 boards and 16 points in the game, while E. Gordon scored 23 points while completing 5 3-pointers.
Even as the Pelicans played well in the 2nd game they just could not stay with the Warriors in crunch time in the game, as they only managed 16 points in the final 4th quarter. Was if poor playing, coaching, or the Warriors defense, or the lack of playoff game experience, as this is the Pelicans first exposure to the NBA Playoffs.
So for the Pelican fans let’s hope the young New Orleans team playing at home, who have shown they are not about to give up, and at home they expect to impress their fans. So look for Davis to keep the Pelicans in the mix in game 3 as in his 4 games this season against the Warriors he has averaged 30 points per game, but he needs help if the Pelicans are to win this game 3. Those in the know are taking the win in game 3 pay 10 points or more.
