You play 82 games and take a beating just to get to this point.” Roy leads the Blazers in scoring at 21.5 points per game. He was hurt in Sunday’s 91-88 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers.
The only good news for the Blazers is that they won’t have to face the Los Angeles Lakers in the first round. It probably won’t matter who they face though if they don’t have Roy. In a seven-game series they are unlikely to win against Denver, Dallas or Utah without their best player.
