To be exact, NBA All-Star Weekend is usually a Friday through Sunday event. COVID-19 has turned it into a one-day event on Sunday. Further, Atlanta’s State Farm Arena will be an empty television studio. The good news is that none of this will curtail NBA betting. Wagering action on the skills competition, 3-Point shooting contest, slam dunk contest, and the All-Star Game itself will all be available. Yet again, LeBron James headlines the Western Conference All-Star team. And then Kevin Durant as the namesake of the Eastern Conference.

Skills Challenge and Contestants
Specifically, the skills challenge includes contests in ball handling, passing, and shooting. Players will race against each other by dribbling through side-by-side obstacle courses. And then a contestant must throw a pass through a hoop. Then the players must dribble back for a layup. Following that, players must dribble back the other way and shoot a 3-pointer from the top of the key. The matchup ends with the first player hits the 3-point shot.

In sum, each contestant tries to shoot as many 3-point field goals within a 60-second time frame. A player will shoot four orange balls for one point and one red, white, and blue ball for two points.

Previously the teams were known as Team LeBron and Team Giannis. This year the teams are Team LeBron and Team Durant. While Quin Snyder of the Utah Jazz will coach Team LeBron.
