Friday NBA Betting – Clippers at Nuggets on ESPN

November 17th, 2023 Live NBA Betting Lines

The Los Angeles Clippers got their first win of the season on Wednesday and now they will try and make it two in a row in NBA betting at Denver on Friday night. It is the first of a four-game road trip for the Clippers and the first game of a back-to-back as they are in Utah tomorrow.  The Nuggets are likely to get the bulk of the action from gamblers making an NBA bet at Sbg global even though they are coming off a loss.

Young Clippers
The Clippers started the season at 0-4 but they played very well on Wednesday as they got their first win of the season.  The Clippers routed the Oklahoma City Thunder as Eric Bledsoe, Blake Griffin and Eric Gordon had big nights. Gordon had 27 points, Bledsoe added 17 points and eight assists while Griffin had 18 points and nine rebounds. The Clippers may have figured out that Bledsoe is a far better choice at guard than Baron Davis.  Bledsoe got the start since Davis was out with a sore left knee. If the Clippers want to win they should hope that Davis remains out of the lineup. Davis has seen his best days and is not a player that should be part of the Clippers future. He came into training camp out of shape and it is obvious to anyone watching that the Clippers are far better without him.

Inconsistent Nuggets
The Denver Nuggets are 2-2 this season and coming off a last second loss at home to the Dallas Mavericks.  Denver didn’t play any defense on Dirk Nowitzki on Wednesday and lost at home to the Mavericks. Denver is normally a tough home team but they could be overvalued this season on their home court.
