NBA Betting – Denver at Los Angeles Clippers

November 16th, 2023 Live NBA Betting Lines

NBA betting favors the Denver Nuggets on Friday as they visit the Los Angeles Clippers. This basketball betting game can be seen late on ESPN television on Friday.

Here is a look at this matchup between the Nuggets and Clippers. NBA betting has seen the Nuggets own the Clippers in this series of late. The Nuggets have won 9 of the last 10 against the Clippers and they are a profitable 7-3 against the basketball betting number. The teams met four times a year ago and the Nuggets won all four games. They were also 3-1 in NBA betting in those wins.  The Nuggets only pointspread loss did come at Los Angeles though as they won 106-105 but didn’t cover the NBA betting lines. The other game at Los Angeles was a 113-103 win. Both of those games went over the basketball betting total.

The Nuggets have been rolling along pretty well this season in NBA betting. They have the 3rd ranked offense in the league led by Carmelo Anthony who is averaging almost 30 points per game. The Denver defense has been just average, but overall this Nuggets team looks better than last year’s squad that nearly made the NBA Finals.  The only concern for those backing the Nuggets in NBA betting is Denver’s road record against the spread. It has been a little bit spotty and that can be attributed to more people giving the Nuggets attention in basketball betting.

The Clippers have been poor again this NBA betting season but that is nothing new.  They are particularly bad against the NBA betting odds at home.  On the road they have been okay since they are always getting big numbers in NBA betting. One of the few bright spots for the Clippers has been the play of center Chris Kaman. He is having an excellent season and earlier this month he was the Western Conference Player of the Week. Kaman has been averaging almost 22 points per game this NBA betting season.  Los Angeles has been hurt by injuries again this season as guard Eric Gordon is out in addition to top draft pick Blake Griffin.

This has the potential to be an interesting late game on ESPN on Friday if the Nuggets take things lightly.  If Denver is focused and ready to play they should win this NBA betting contest without too much trouble.
