The Indiana Pacers are a young team that is likely to struggle against the NBA betting odds this season. Prediction:
The Pacers added Darren Collison in the off-season and he should help them win a few more games this year. The Pacers needed someone to run the floor and Collison can do that. He backed up Chris Paul in New Orleans and then started when Paul got hurt. He averaged 12.4 points and 5.7 assists in 76 games last year. Collison might take some of the pressure off of Granger. Last season it was Granger doing everything for Indiana. The problem for the Pacers is that Granger and Collison are it. Hansbrough is a hard worker but he doesn’t score much. Hibbert is a defensive player who can’t score while Rush is inconsistent. The Pacers can bring Mike Dunleavy Jr. off the bench and perhaps he can do something to earn his salary. The Pacers took Paul George in the NBA Draft and he looks like a huge reach since he probably isn’t going to see much playing time since he plays the same position as Granger. The Pacers are not going to be a playoff team this season but they have Granger and now they have Collison so they can be competitive in NBA betting on some nights.
