NBA Wagering Online –Oklahoma City at Denver Handicapping Tips.  The Denver Nuggets will try and focus on basketball on Wednesday as they host the Oklahoma City Thunder in NBA wagering online. The Nuggets have had to deal with the daily rumors about Carmelo Anthony getting traded and it has affected their performance on the court.  Gamblers making an NBA bet at SBG have been cautious about taking Denver recently because of the trade rumors surrounding Anthony.

Thunder 10-10 ATS on the Road
Oklahoma City is coming off a road loss at the Lakers on Monday.  The Thunder are a very good team but they are still not an elite team.  Oklahoma City has Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook but the Thunder still doesn’t play enough defense to stop a team like the Lakers.  It won’t be easy on Wednesday against Denver but the Nuggets are not an elite team like the Lakers.  Oklahoma City has done well lately against the Northwest Division, going 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games. The Thunder are also solid on Wednesdays going 4-1 ATS in their last 5 Wednesday games. In this series, the Thunder are 8-2 ATS in the last 10 meetings.

Nuggets 9-11-2 ATS at Home
The Nuggets are an iffy proposition in NBA wagering online.  They are below .500 against the spread at home but they have been a little better lately going 5-1-1 ATS in their last 7 home games.  Denver is also solid on Wednesday as they are 17-8-1 ATS in their last 26 Wednesday games.  Denver can definitely score points as they are second in the league in points per game. The problem for the Nuggets is that they don’t play a lot of defense.  Denver is very much in the playoff picture in the Western Conference and with Carmelo Anthony in the lineup they can be a force.  It doesn’t look like Anthony will remain with Denver though and that has cast a cloud over Denver. It is simply hard to know if Anthony will play well on a nightly basis.

Over the Total
Seven of the last eight Oklahoma City games vs. the Northwest have gone over the total.  Five of their last six overall have gone over.  Even though Oklahoma City is an over team, they have gone under in seven of their last ten road games. Denver has gone over in four of their last five home games.
