Thunder Look to Continue their Roll in Basketball Betting at Philly

Basketball betting on the Oklahoma City Thunder has been very successful this season. The Thunder have one of the best road marks in NBA betting at 22-13 and they will look to get another win on Tuesday at Philadelphia.  Here are some of the numbers to consider as you look at this matchup on Tuesday between Oklahoma City and Philadelphia.

Basketball betting with Philadelphia is really not something that has gone well this season.  The 76ers have been one of the worst teams in the NBA against the point spread at home this season.  There is simply not a lot to like about Philadelphia. They have Andre Iguodala and not much else.  Elton Brand was supposed to be a star player for the 76ers but he has looked like the most overpaid player in the league. The 76ers don’t score enough points and their defense does not make up for their lack of scoring. They have won seven of the last ten against Oklahoma City in this series but all of those wins came when the Thunder were not very good. The Thunder are the much better team than the 76ers now.  Oklahoma City has won the last two in the series against Philadelphia including 117-106 earlier this season. Both teams shot 50% or better in that game. Iguodala had 28 points for Philly while Kevin Durant poured in 33 for the Thunder.

Oklahoma City is going to make the playoffs and they are a team that is fun to watch.  Durant could win the scoring title as he is right with LeBron James for the league lead.  Russell Westbrook is a very good point guard and the Thunder have other players who can make an impact including Jeff Green and rookie James Harden.  Oklahoma City plays solid defense as they are 10th in the league. There is a lot to like about Oklahoma City when you take them in basketball betting.

The 76ers are the opposite of the Thunder. There is not much to like about Philly when you look at them in NBA betting. They have only one impact player and Iguodala is not a superstar.  He can score points but rarely does he take over a game the way that Durant does.  The 76ers are terrible at home and in this particular matchup against the Thunder they are an underdog.
