Houston was the class of the American Athletic Conference in the regular season. To illuminate, the Cougars won the regular-season title in a breeze. The AAC regular-season title only adds to Houston’s credibility. Last year the Cougars made the Final Four. This makes Houston the AAC’s biggest brand with the College Basketball odds. But that does not equate to the Cougars being a lock in this week’s AAC Tournament. In particular, sharps see other intriguing possibilities at better prices. Houston is the most expensive team on the board, with Memphis right behind.

Houston enters the American Athletic Conference Tournament in good form. To show, the Cougars have covered five of their most recent six sportsbook outings. Center Jalen Duren leads Memphis with 12.1 points and 7.5 rebounds per game.
SMU Mustangs 21-7 SU, 14-143 ATS, 14-14 OU
SMU could prove to be one of the top values in the AAC Tournament. Late on, the Ponies have been inconsistent with just two payouts in their most recent five games. Seven of the Mustangs’ last ten tilts went under the total. SMU ranks 96th for scoring offense and 129th for points allowed. Namely, guard Kendrick Davis leads SMU with 19.5 points per game. Forward Marcus Weathers adds 12.5 points and 7.3 rebounds per contest.
Tulane Green Wave 13-13 SU, 16-10 ATS, 16-10 OU
Yet another team in excellent recent form is the Green Wave. Tulane has covered seven of its most recent ten games. Eight of their last nine games went over the total. The Green Wave ranks a respectable 116th for scoring offense. Of major concern is that Tulane ranks 255th for points allowed and 354th for defensive rebounding. Guard Jalen Cook leads Tulane with 18 points per game. And then guard Jaylen Forbes is at 16.6 points and 5.3 rebounds per game.
