Last Saturday the Kentucky Wildcats continued to state their case as the overall March Madness Betting favorites after routing Arkansas, and elevating their record to 29-0. The Wildcats have just 11 more games to go to achieve the mythical 40-0 season and setting a precedent, a before an after for College Basketball; it would be the stuff dreams are made of. Can you bet on such an accomplishment?
The Wildcats’ season thus far has seen them completely dominate opponents left and right. They have faced potential threats to their spotless record, like the Arkansas Razorbacks, and absolutely bully them like they were a second rate team. Kansas, UCLA and twenty-seven other teams have suffered from the major talent depth the Wildcats have. Yet, every team they face comes out to the court with actual hopes of putting an end to the undefeated season, and so far all of them have gone home empty handed. As March Madness betting comes in full swing, it will be interesting to see if there is a team out there capable of stopping the Wildcats.
The main issue with having a team like the Wildcats is that they are not showing any signs of losing anytime soon. When you fill out your tournament brackets the idea is to mix things up and give you more options when choosing the contenders for the National Championship. However, this season, it seems as if what is being done is diversifying the different picks and measuring which teams will loose to the future National Champions. It is now the safest bet to pick the Wildcats as champions as to any other outcome.
Now that March madness betting is fully on going, the Kentucky Wildcats are playing the Georgia Bulldogs tonight at the Stegeman Coliseum in Athens, GA. The line is -10 for the Wildcats. The safest bet there would be to bet the over.
