Thursday College Basketball Odds – Temple vs. California on ESPN 2

20th ranked Temple is favored in college basketball odds on Thursday against California in the Old Spice Classic Tournament. This game can be seen on ESPN 2 and should be interesting to watch since each team comes into the contest unbeaten.  Neither team has really been tested but that will change on Thursday in college basketball betting.

Temple 2-0 SU, 2-0 ATS
The Owls have won and covered both of their first two games. They handled Seton Hall in their opener and then routed Toledo in their second game. Temple is going to be tested in this game against California and they need it because their schedule gets really tough. They are going to play top-ranked Duke, sixth-ranked Villanova and 20th-ranked Georgetown in non-conference action this season. Temple is led by Lavoy Allen who averaged a double-double last season. He could have a big game against California since the Bears have a weak front line.

California 2-0 SU, 2-0 ATS
The Bears have rolled in their first two games as they routed Cal State-Northridge and New Mexico State. Forward Harper Kamp has looked good early this season as has guard Jorge Gutierrez. The Bears look overmatched in the middle so they will need to hit shots from the outside to stay in this game.  California is in the top 25 in scoring in the nation but it has only been two games so it is hard to know just how good the Bears are.
