Dayton Flies High into A-10 Tourney for College Basketball Bets

2020 Atlantic 10 Conference Tournament Betting odds

A clear difference faces mid-major conferences such as the Atlantic 10 compared to the Power Five leagues. Only Dayton is assured of a March Madness bid. Everyone else will be fighting for their lives in need of a deep A-10 Tourney run if not an outright title. As a result, the handicapping question becomes which team other than Dayton can bring value for College Basketball Bets. In a league loaded with good teams, there are plenty of candidates.

#3 Dayton Flyers (28-2 SU, 16-14 ATS, 18-12 OU)

On the whole the Flyers rate far and away above the rest as the class of the Atlantic 10. Dayton boasts national metrics of 15th in scoring offense and 56th for points allowed. They ran away and hid for the regular-season conference title with a four-game advantage. F Obi Toppin dominates with 19.8 points and 7.6 rebounds per game.

Richmond Spiders (23-7 SU, 17-13 ATS, 11-18 OU)

Late on Richmond closed well with five sports betting covers in their last eight games. Spider national metrics are 66th for scoring offense and 113th for points allowed. G Blake Francis leads Richmond with 17.5 points per game.

Rhode Island Rams (20-9 SU, 15-14 ATS, 13-16 OU)

On this occasion, the Rams have to win the A10 Tournament to get their ticket punched. Wednesday’s 84-57 home loss to Dayton is an eyesore. Rhode Island has covered only three of their last eight games. Namely, G Fatts Russell is the Ram to watch with 19.1 points per game.

Saint Louis Billikens (22-8 SU, 16-13 ATS, 16-13 OU)

A solid defense ranked 75th in the country is the Billikens calling card. Saint Louis has shown good recent form with five payouts in their last seven games. Correlate G Jordan Goodwin’s 15.5 points and 10.4 rebounds per game. Coach Travis Ford led the Bills to the Big Dance last year.

Duquesne Dukes (21-8 SU, 13-16 ATS, 14-14-1 OU)

Yet another good Atlantic 10 team not quite in reach of the NCAA Tournament in Duquesne. The Dukes rank 154th for scoring offense, but a respectable 88th for points allowed. F Marcus Weathers leads with 14.4 points and 7.9 rebounds per game.

St. Bonaventure Bonnies (19-11 SU, 17-11-1 ATS, 18-10 OU)

At first, the weak Bonnies offense would scare off many casual bettors. But a defense ranked in the upper third of the nation makes them a tough out. St. Bonaventure has covered seven of their last 10 to rate as one of the A-10’s better values. Owing to coach Mark Schmidt is the Bonnies a consistent winner and a 2018 March Madness program.

Davidson Wildcats (15-14 SU, 12-17 ATS, 12-14 OU)

Admittedly, Davidson has been fading for College Basketball Bets with one payout in their last five games. But Coach Bob McKillop has put the Wildcats in the Big Dance seven times since 2006. The Account of that knack for post-season success is Davidson worth a peak.

Virginia Commonwealth Rams (18-12 SU, 10-20 ATS, 14-15-1 OU)

Commencing with a mediocre offense VCU has struggled to get the cash. But a tight defense ranked 53rd in the country makes the Rams dangerous for teams off the mark.
