Iowa Hawkeyes +1600 (21-8 SU, 15-13-1 ATS, 14-15 OU)

Iowa brings the best player in the country to the NCAA Tournament. To be exact, Luka Garza is the offshore betting favorite for the national player of the year. Garza brings 23.7 points and 8.8 rebounds per game. So too does Iowa’s offense rank 4th best in the country. But a defense ranked 228th out of 350 teams for points allowed is a concern. Late on, the Hawkeyes have covered just two of their last seven games.

Alabama Crimson Tide +1600 (24-6 SU, 17-12-1 ATS, 14-16 OU)

Alabama is a new national power. In view of steamrolling to the SEC regular-season and tournament championships. Coach Nate Oats engineered one of the nation’s most dynamic offenses.

Kansas Jayhawks +2500 (20-8 SU, 14-12-1 ATS, 13-14 OU)

Kansas is one of the hottest teams on the board. To show, KU has lost only one of their last eight to the spread. Coach Bill Self’s Jayhawks overcame a terrible January to save a Big Dance bid. Kansas is one of the nation’s better defensive teams. Most important of all, their 71-58 win over Baylor demonstrates championship ability for the 2021 NCAA Tournament. Self has won a national championship at Kansas. And ranks in the top tier of college hoops coaches.

Villanova Wildcats +4000 (16-6 SU, 11-10-1 ATS, 12-10 OU)

At the beginning of any Villanova, the conversation is with coach Jay Wright. He led Nova to two national championships in five years. First place went to Nova in the Big East regular season. A stunning 72-71 loss to Georgetown in the Big East Tournament disappointed many gamblers and fans. Villanova has covered only three of their last ten games. Still, there is tremendous faith in Jay Wright. He is an impact coach with a proven March Madness record of success. Another factor in the Wildcats’ favor is their balance. Villanova plays a full-court game.

North Carolina Tar Heels +5000 (18-10 SU, 13-13-2 ATS, 13-15 OU)

Although North Carolina is a traditional power, they were under the radar this season. Coach Roy Williams’s team overcame a terrible start to salvage a Big Dance Invite. Since mid-February, UNC has been one of the hottest teams on the board. Williams deserves credit for holding his program together during the rough seas. Late on, North Carolina lost just two of their last nine to the odds. An ACC Tournament semifinal run helped punch their ticket.
