2007-2008 Georgia Bulldogs NCAA Basketball Lines

NCAA basketball line experts were high on Georgia this season until Mike Mercer and Takais Brown, leading scorers from last season, were kicked off the team before the season started. NCAA basketball lines experts also don’t like that 7’0 freshman Rashaad Singleton quit the team in search of more playing time.  It does not bode well for Georgia against basketball lines this season. NCAA basketball lines odds in the SEC are tough.  The games are brutal as the conference is loaded and that puts Georgia in a tough spot.

Georgia does have some talent that could impact basketball lines.  Basketball lines experts see that Sundiata Gaines and Billy Humphrey should continue to do well but there is not a lot of depth and coach Dennis Felton will have to rely upon the newcomers.  NCAA basketball lines experts see that Jeremy Price is the biggest of the newcomers at 6-8, 270 pounds.  He will be joined by Chris Barnes and Jeremy Jacob according to experts that look at the NCAA basketball lines.  The future of the point guard spot is Zac Swansey’s according to NCAA basketball lines experts.  Shooting guard Troy Brewer will be expected to play eventually according to NCAA basketball lines experts.  Sundiata Gaines is not a true point guard, but he did average 10.5 points, 4.8 assists and 5.7 rebounds last season according to NCAA basketball lines stats.  Billy Humphrey and Terrance Woodbury are the best shooters and will need to produce if Georgia is to be competitive in basketball lines this year.

Dave Bliss will likely start inside but he doesn’t score much and that hurts Georgia as experts that look at the NCAA basketball lines see it.  Albert Jackson showed potential during his freshman season and will need to produce more according to NCAA basketball lines experts.

It is not going to be the season it could have been for Georgia.  Losing two starters and a potential star before the season begins is a huge blow to any team and Georgia will suffer versus the NCAA basketball lines.  It will take at least a year and perhaps longer to recover from the losses this season.  Even an NIT bid would be good news for Georgia this season but that seems unlikely according to NCAA basketball lines experts.
