Brown leads the Buffaloes with 12.6 points in each game. Sophomore forward Andre Roberson is also a notable player on the team. He has 11.6 points and 11.1 rebounds in each game. The Rebels are a #6 seed and finished the season with a 26-8 record. The Rebels had the third best record in the Mountain West Conference and received an at-large bid.
UNLV is coming into the tournament with a 6-5 record since February. The Rebels have lost their last four games outside of Las Vegas. The Rebels are 5-6 against NCAA tournament teams. This includes a 90-80 win over North Carolina back on November 26.
Mike Moser, a sophomore forward, continues to lead the Rebels in many categories. He has 14.1 points, 10.6 rebounds and 1.8 steals in each game. The entire team is getting 17.7 assists in each game, thus making the Rebels third in all of Division I basketball in this category.
UNLV is the favorite but not by too much. The Rebels are a -5.5 favorite. UNLV also has a -240 moneyline bet with Colorado having a +200 bet. The over/under is at 135. This will be a challenging matchup between these two teams as they get ready to potentially move to the field of 32.
