The ‘Neers defeated Saint Francis on March 7th to Northeast Conference Men’s Basketball Tournament and return to the NCAA tourney after two years’ absence. As was the case in each of the Mount’s previous four trips to the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament, the Mountaineers are a No. 16 seed, as are the Privateers. UNO beat Texas A&M–Corpus Christi on March 10th to win the Southland Conference Men’s Basketball Tournament and make their first appearance in the NCAA tourney since 1996. The ‘Teers are averaging 73.1 points, 35.9 rebounds, 15.8 assists, 7.8 steals and 3.1 blocks per game, which is part of what makes them favorites on Tuesday. However, it could be argued that the winner of this matchup will in fact be the loser, since a win in the First Round would propel either school into a Second Round game with No. 1 overall seed Villanova on Thursday, March 16th.
Kansas State Wildcats vs. Wake Forest Demon Deacons March Madness Betting preview

The Wildcats fell to West Virginia in the semifinals of the Big 12 tournament on March 10th. nonetheless, K-State still received an at-large bid for the NCAA tourney on the strength of a 20-13 season and a sixth place finish in the conference. Upsetting the Baylor Bears in the quarterfinals of the Big 12 tournament did not hurt either. The Wildcats were announced as a No. 11 seed, as was Wake Forest. The Deacs were eliminated in the first round of the Atlantic Coast Conference Men’s Basketball Tournament by Boston College. Nevertheless, the Demons will be making their 23rd appearance – and first since 2010 – in the NCAA Tournament. The winner of this matchup will go on to play Cincinnati in the first round in Sacramento on March 17th.
North Carolina Central Eagles vs. UC Davis Aggies March Madness Betting preview

The Eagles won the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Men’s Basketball Tournament by defeating Norfolk State on March 11th. As a result, NC Central will appear in the NCAA tourney for the first time since 2014. Meanwhile the Aggies defeated UC Irvine on March 11th to win their first the Big West Conference Men’s Basketball Tournament and thus make their NCAA tourney debut less than a decade of joining Division I for the 2004-05 season, and ten years after joining the Big West in 2007. The Aggies were National Champions in 1998 as members of the NCAA Division I. The winner of Wednesday night’s game will progress one step further to play No. 1 seed Kansas on Friday, March 17th in Tulsa, OK.
