Michigan State had done well in the past in the Elite Eight and that continued against Tennessee. In the second round and in Elite Eight games the Spartans are 15-3 under head coach Tom Izzo. The three losses all came against number one seeds. Izzo is a master at preparing his teams and the NCAA Tournament is all about making adjustments.
The Final Four 2010 matchup between Michigan State and Butler is an interesting one. Michigan State has Izzo and a team that has been in the Final Four before while Butler has the home court edge in Indianapolis. Butler is a 1.5 point favorite in March Madness betting with a total of 126.
