College basketball betting has Texas Longhorns facing Oklahoma State in the second half of ESPN’s Big Monday. Both teams are coming off losses as Texas lost 80-77 in overtime to Baylor on Saturday while the Cowboys were routed 95-80 by Missouri. Those that bet on college basketball will probably look to the Longhorns as the team that bounces back with a win on Monday.
College basketball betting had Texas Longhorns unbeaten a couple of weeks ago but now the Longhorns have three losses. Damion James had 20 points and 19 rebounds for Texas on Saturday but it was not enough. The Longhorns have lost three of their last four since reaching #1 in the rankings. Texas does not seem too concerned though. “Coach (Barnes) said he likes where we are right now.” James said, “The turnovers hurt us toward the end (versus Baylor.) It’s my fault. I’ve just got to be a better leader of this team.”
Oklahoma State was routed on Saturday in college basketball betting by Missouri. James Anderson had 31 points but it didn’t matter as the Cowboys turned it over 24 times. Anderson scored in double figures for the 35th consecutive game, breaking a tie with Richard Dumas for the second-longest streak in school history.
Texas has been a good team on Monday as they are 13-5 ATS in their last 18 Monday games. They have not played well overall though, especially in the conference. They are 5-20-1 in college basketball betting in their last 26 vs. the Big 12. They have been brutal on the road too as they are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 road games. The Longhorns are 2-6 vs. the college basketball betting odds in the last 8 meetings at Oklahoma St.
Oklahoma State is the opposite of Texas in college basketball betting. The Cowboys are 20-6-1 ATS in their last 27 games overall. The Cowboys are 13-4 ATS in their last 17 vs. Big 12. The Cowboys are 34-16-3 vs. the bet on college basketball line in their last 53 home games.
Five of the last six Texas Longhorns road games have gone over for those that bet on college basketball. Four of the last five Oklahoma State games have gone over the college basketball betting total. Eight of their last eleven at home though have gone under. And six of the last seven in this series have gone under the bet on college basketball number.
