At the beginning of Shaka Smart’s arrival to Texas was considerable fanfare and high expectations. Smart made his fame as head coach of Virginia Commonwealth where he led the program to the 2011 Final Four. While his three years at Texas produced two March Madness bids the overall feel has been underwhelming. But Texas can make a huge coming out statement for betting lines NCAA basketball.
