2022 Sun Bowl Overview
At the beginning, the first Sun Bowl was played on January 1, 1935. Originally, it was a fundraising event for underprivileged children in the community. And for upgrades to the El Paso High School Stadium. Next year, Hardin-Simmons and New Mexico State were invited to play.
