In 2017, the Texas A&M Aggies hired Jimbo Fisher away from the Florida State Seminoles, where he won a national championship. 2024 Aggies Preview
Texas A&M has managed just 12 victories in the past two seasons. However, new coach Mike Elko’s presence, along with the scheme of new offensive coordinator Collin Klein, raises optimism for improvement. The Aggies caught a sports betting scheduling break. Since 1995, Texas A&M has had only two double-digit win seasons. The Aggies have finished ranked in the top ten only twice in the past 26 years. The last great era of Texas A&M football was under RC Slocum from 1989 through 1999. Specifically, Slocum led the Aggies to five double-digit win seasons in that span with three Top-8 or better finishes.
