The only thing that the Beavers have in their favor is the rivalry aspect of the game. Oregon ruined Oregon State’s season two years ago when they upset them and kept them out of the Rose Bowl. In 2000 it was Oregon State who ruined Oregon’s season as they beat them and kept them out of the Rose Bowl. History may say that Oregon State has a chance but this Oregon team has been unstoppable.
Oregon 6-4-1 ATS
You will see the number on this game and be tempted to take Oregon State but the Ducks are simply a powerful team. They are also pretty good against the point spread. They are the top scoring team in the country averaging 50.5 points per game. Their defense is also pretty good as they are 15th in the nation. The Ducks are only 2-5 ATS though in their last 7 games as a road favorite.
Oregon State 6-4-1 ATS
The Beavers also have a winning record against the spread this season. Most of those wins came early though as the Beavers have lost three of their last four against the number. They are 19-7 ATS in their last 26 games as an underdog but they look in over their head in this game. If you are going to bet college football and play a total then the over looks good in this game as the last eight meetings between the two teams have gone over.
