New Mexico State while TCU defeated Colorado State 27-0. Boise was laying 43.5 points and easily covered for those who bet on college football while TCU was giving 32.5 and they just missed out. Boise and TCU Winning but Get Little Credit – How much credit do you deserve when you beat New Mexico State and Colorado State? The answer is not much. So Boise beat one of the worst teams in the country 59-0. Who really cares? TCU didn’t even cover against Colorado State so their win doesn’t mean much either.
Boise covered the big number at the Sbg global sportsbook in their win over New Mexico State. Quarterback Kellen Moore was 13 of 18 for 196 yards and three touchdowns. The Broncos led 38-0 at the half. They have now won 18 straight overall and 15 straight on the road. Boise State has outscored New Mexico State 208-7 in their last four meetings. In this win for gamblers who bet on college football, Boise State had 608 yards of offense. They had won the previous five games against the Aggies by scores of 56-6, 40-20, 58-0, 49-0 and 42-7.
TCU really wasn’t that impressive against Colorado State but their defense was so good that it didn’t matter. The Horned Frogs led just 6-0 at the half and because of their rotten first half they didn’t cover the college football betting number. Quarterback Andy Dalton threw for only 109 yards and a touchdown. Ed Wesley rushed for 78 yards and added two touchdowns. Colorado State has now lost 10 straight games against ranked teams.
Both Boise and TCU Drop – Because Oregon was so impressive in their win they jumped ahead of Boise in the latest AP poll. We said earlier that the 59-0 win meant nothing and voters in the AP poll agreed as they moved Oregon ahead of Boise State into the third spot behind Alabama and Ohio State. Boise simply has a nothing schedule and TCU’s is not much better. Each team could win their games each week and continue to drop in the polls. TCU was number five in this week’s AP poll.
