College Basketball Betting Eager at SBG Global

College basketball betting fans will be in for a surprise this year when they watch the University of Texas Longhorns take the court for the 2008-09 NCAA basketball gambling season. While turnover is a major part of nay NCAA basketball betting team, the Horns have lost a major piece of the puzzle when All-American guard DJ Augustin skipped town for the pros. The Horns are still loaded with talent, but it will interesting to see how this top ten NCAA basketball betting team fills the void.

NCAA basketball betting voters don’t seem all that worried at Augustine’s absence as they ranked the Horns in the top ten preseason polls. The team debuts in the seven or eight spot in the two major NCAA basketball betting polls and is well poised to make a run at the NCAA basketball gambling Final Four or perhaps even more. And really, that’s to be expected considering how many top players the Horns have sent to the NBA in recent NCAA basketball betting seasons including Kevin Durant, LeMarcus Aldridge and others.

The key player for Texas this NCAA basketball betting season will be super sophomore James Jones and Augustin’s back former back court mate AJ Abrams. These are two superstars in the making and without Augustin there, both will have to step up and make a college basketball betting name for themselves. Jones is a rare talent whose athletic and has a high basketball IQ. He averaged a double-double last college basketball betting season and he should improve on his number this year. Abrams can shoot the lights out and is great compliment to Jones’ slashing play.

The team will also benefit greatly from guard Dogus Balbay. A Turkish citizen, he played very well for his home country over summer and will be an immediate positive for this team in the NCAA basketball betting. In fact Balbay could be one of the biggest surprises in college basketball betting this season. The Horns NCAA basketball gambling hopes will depend on him being able to step in and take over where Augustin left off. He’s got a maturity advantage over his teammates and has already played against much better competition than he’ll face in the college basketball betting this season.

There aren’t many freshmen coming in for this team and so experience should not be a problem for the Horns when the NCAA basketball gambling begins. It’s a long season and the Big will be especially brutal this season, but there’s no reason to think that the Horns won’t be conference champs, and more, once the NCAA basketball betting dust finally settles.
